March has arrived!

March has arrived!

It has been a long winter and even though it is March and the temperature was 59 yesterday, that doesn't mean winter is over. However it was wonderful to see the bright sunshine coming through the kitchen window this morning. One thing John and I did when building our home was having the kitchen window face east to watch the sun come up and it has been a blessing for almost 30 years now.
As I was reading Deut 4:29-31 it reminded me of when I had a stubborn heart (against______).....God and would not repent of my bitter spirit! He broke my heart and showed me a bitter spirit would continue through my lineage. How grateful I am he did not take one of my children to get my attention...but firmly and tenderly showed me my sin of not fearing Him in order to obey. Now, I am broken again as I pray for Him to work in the lives of my loved ones.
Dear Lord, help me to be obedient and admit my sin so You will hear my prayers for those I love.
