Corey's Ride on the Trolley

Corey's Ride on the Trolley magnify
"Where's the seatbelt Grandma?" asked Corey. When I was a child they didn't have seat belts in cars or trolleys. Today I'm not sure if they have them on streetcars or not. We had such a wonderful time and the ride was just long enough. The conductor, Jack, was very enthusiastic and said way before retirement time came he knew that he wanted to be a volunteer for the Trolley Museum. He punched our tickets with a heart punch and said that is to let all his passengers know that he loves them. Each conductor has a punch with a different symbol. At the end of the ride Corey had his picture taken wearing Jack's conductor hat. How neat to go back in time and share with my grandson. What a blessing!
