Humor is a blessing in marriage!

While in Spain helping Ken and Carolyn Muckle with English camp, John and I helped the Spanish people learn English. Last week some friends from Spain, Mari Carmen and Pedro visited us and taught us a few more Spanish words while they practiced some of their English... which was very good, by the way. This week on the way to church, we passed some donkeys and John said "Oh look, there are some "burros".....rolling his R's of course. Then someone at church asked him if he had a good time in Spain...he answered. "Si". The answer was quite unexpected and of course they laughed.
The man cracks me up....I never know what he will say next. He always has had that dry wit, but it seemed only I noticed it. Since our trip...now many people are experiencing and enjoying his humor. Hopefully it will not stop. This June 1st we will have been married 44 years and I thank God for John's sense of humor.
